David Chong


About David Chong

David Chong is a native British Columbian. He graduated from high school in Lytton B.C. in 1949 and graduated from U.B.C. Law School in 1954 at the age of 20.

He was called to the Bar in 1955 and has continuously practiced law in Vancouver since that date. In 1972, he became a partner of Mr. Andrew Joe who was the first person of Chinese origin to be admitted to the bar of British Columbia. The association continued until Mr. Joe’s retirement. David is active in the Chinese community and served as directors and advisors to many Chinese non-profit organizations.
